About Forest Row School of Ceramics
Forest Row School of Ceramics began in 2010, when I opened my first studio in Forest Row and started teaching full time. As the school quickly grew, I soon needed more space.
In 2016, I relocated to the beautiful grounds of Emerson College, where the school truly took shape. There, I introduced a range of intensive courses and welcomed visiting artists, including our unique three-month Full-Time Residential Ceramic Development Course—the only one of its kind in the UK. Since 2017, this course has run annually, and I am proud that so many of my graduates have gone on to establish their own studios and build thriving careers in ceramics.
In 2023, life called for a fresh start. I made the brave decision to move to Dorset, where I reopened Forest Row School of Ceramics in a restored farm building in Bridport. It was a labour of love to bring the new space to life, and just in time for our 2024 Ceramic Development Course. Since then, the school has flourished, welcoming students from all over the world.

After
Today, I focus exclusively on intensive courses, offering dedicated time and space for aspiring ceramicists to explore their craft and discover their own artistic direction. It is a joy and a privilege to support each student’s journey, and I feel deeply grateful to continue sharing my passion for ceramics in this way.
Thank you for being part of the story—and watch this space as the journey continues.
