This piece was thrown - glazed in layers - mostly turquiose with and a volvanic surface - fired multiple times to stoneware in an electric kiln. 
It is 9cm high, is water tight so can be used as a vase
The glaze is very reactive and can run so the bottom might have needed grinding to smooth the surface. But this will not effect the integrity of the piece.
